Unsorted redwood 
Highest grade

Unsorted redwood is the highest grade of redwood we offer. This grading has fewer smaller knots than that of 5ths. Hailing from Scandinavia it grows slowly in this cooler climate making for a tighter, straighter grain than homegrown spruce. Supplied pressure treated for a longer life expectancy. Available in a range of sizes

Siberian Larch

Siberian Larch rose very quickly in popularity during the early 2000's after featuring on programs like Grand designs. Praised by designers and architect alike for its ability to fade naturally to a silver grey, affordably and natural resistance to decay.

Iroko

A desirable alternative to teak. Iroko is an African hardwood with a natural resistnace to decay. Due to its density it can have a blunting effect on tools. Light yellow to golden brown.

Yellow Balau

A very dense and durable hardwood. ranging from light to dark brown this is batten is naturally resistant to insect attack and decay. Grading guidelines allow for Balau to contain microscopic holes known as pinworm – these are in no way detrimental to the structure of the timber.

Sapele

Sapele stunning grain and warm reddish hew makes it a fantastic alternative to mahogany. This affordable hardwood is resistant to decay and is a firm favourite with joiners nationwide.

Red Thermo Oak

Thermo Red Oak can be treated to maintain is natural tones.  If left untreated, the rich tones will eventually take on a silvery-grey appearance.  Oak is a high-quality hardwood that is exceptionally weather-resistant and the chemical-free thermal treatment enhances these qualities even more, assuring durability and dimensional stability so your cladding will retain its beauty for many years.

Thermo Ayous

An african hardwood that has been thermally modified to remove moisture. This increases the timbers resistance to decay, rot and insect attack.

Left untreated it has a life expectancy of 25year + and even longer it you take care of it. The face has a clean finish. A very light weight timber.
